Each of our classrooms are lead by teachers who are highly-educated and certified by the State of Wisconsin. Our teachers are constantly learning and coming up with new ways to engage with out little clients.
Meet Mary Stoner
Director
“My focus is on life-long education. I’m a mom to three adult children as well as a grandmother to a bunch of grand girls, and one grandson. As a parent, I developed a love for teaching so much that I went on to earn my Degree in Education. I am a graduate of all the higher education institutions in Kenosha. I hold Degrees in History, Education, Horticulture, and small business. I love to cook, paint, and create art projects for my family. Child Care and Education has become an unexpected calling for me”.
Meet Lannan Christensen
Director
“My name is Lannan Christensen, and I love witnessing the joys of childhood unfold here at A Place to Grow as well in my own children’s lives. I am a mother to three school-aged girls and have a pretty awesome husband as well. We live in Bristol and consider “free-range” our parenting style as well as our chicken raising style, too. I studied education at Carthage College and quickly decided daycare and early education was my path once I started having children of my own. The joys of parenting and providing high quality childcare in our small community, though it may sound cliché, completely fulfills all my dreams”.
